Our Story

Koukouli was founded in Alexandroupoli at the beginning of 2016 in order to promote the local history through prints on clothing. We came up with the idea because of the need for creative expression.

Our Company’s Philosophy

Our philosophy is to create clothes and accessories of high quality by using locally produced greek silk as the raw material so that we can bring a sense of luxury and cocooning to everyday life. We transfer a historical narrative to the clothing through the print. We create clothing products individually and nothing is mass produced. For this reason each product is produced in a limited number.

Design and Production

We design with a positive attitude and get inspiration from the local history, the reflection of light on our natural greek environment, the changes of the seasons and the mentality of the people. For the production of the products we use silk fabrics that are made and printed in Soufli, the city of silk and a city on the silk road. We carefully examine the whole sewing process personally. The production of the products is the result of fair trade and solidarity and there is no forced labour or child labour. All of our products are designed and made with joy to give joy. All of our products are handmade.
